Patrick currently serves as the School Principal here at Ambition Prep. Bachelors of Science in Chemistry (Mississippi College) , Masters of Education Leadership (Belhaven University), Currently a doctoral candidate (Jackson State University). There's an inequity in education in the state of Mississippi, especially for black and brown students in underserved communities. One way to change the future for our youth is through education. ALL kids deserve the opportunity to thrive in public school education with the adequate resources and support needed to be competitive with their counterparts. They deserve educators who will hold them accountable to a high bar of excellence while meeting them where they are. This is why he does this work and choose to lead educators every single day with this in mind.
He is the father of two amazing sons Amariyan Edmond (8) & Zhakai Edmond (7).

Dean of Academics
Melody Lewis

Melody currently serves as a Dean of Academics here at Ambition Preparatory Charter School. She has an AA degree in Early Childhood, BA is Social Work, and Master Degree in Teaching along with her 3 year teaching certification. Her "WHY" at Ambition Prep is to make a difference in her community and educate all scholars to do their best.
She lives in Jackson, MS, has been married for 15 years, and is the mother of two outstanding teenage boys.

Dean of Academics
Porshia Ferguson

Porshia currently serves as a Dean of Academics here at Ambition Preparatory Charter School. She is a proud graduate of Alcorn State University where she earned her BS in History. She later graduated from Delta State University with her Masters in Education Leadership and Supervision. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She has served as an educator for over 10 years in both Vicksburg Warren School District and Madison Parish School District in Tallulah, LA. She is one of the first Leadership Fellows for Mississippi First where she is the only fellow to gain a leadership position while serving as a fellow. Miss Ferguson also serves Teach Plus Mississippi as a policy fellow where she and her cohort combat teacher retention and attrition, mental health for teachers and students, teacher mentorship, and teacher preparation programs.

Academic Operations Coordinator
Crystal Jackson

Crystal currently serves as an Academic Operations Coordinator here at Bachelor's degree in religion from Georgetown College in Kentucky and then received her MSE in Special Education, Instructional Specialist K-12 from Arkansas State University. She believes that all scholars deserve the very best education that we can give them, in order for them to be as successful as possible as they work to pursue their goals.
She currently lives in Vicksburg, Mississippi with her pets.
