Elementary Teacher (2021-2022)

Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Plan a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students 2. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students 3. Prepare lessons that reflect best practices and accommodations for individual differences of students 4. SPED Teacher (2021-2022)

Responsibilities and Duties: Instructional Strategies: 1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the State Department of Education. 2. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations and differentiation for student learning styles. 3. Collaborate with other members of staff for planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and best practices according to district requirements. 4. Design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity. Student Growth and Development: 1. Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies, assessment, activities, materials, and technology that reflect accommodations for individual needs of students assigned. 2. Work cooperatively with Students Support Coordinator to modify curricula as needed for special education students according to guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP). 3. Assist students in analyzing and improving study methods and habits. 4. Part-Time Elementary Music Teacher (2021-2022)

Program and Role Description: At Ambition Prep, our Music teacher combines the ability to motivate and educate students to develop academic as well as character skills, through music instruction. The music teacher has a growth mindset and participates in rigorous professional development throughout the year, including Classroom management training, collaborative planning sessions, whole and small group school-wide focus professional development, team analysis of performance data and other personalized opportunities growth. Our teachers also receive coaching and have the opportunity to visit other high-performing charter schools to study and grow best practices. Responsibilities:

Finance Associate (2021-2022)

Position Roles and Responsibilities: The Finance Associate is responsible for the daily accounts payable and receivable operations as well as general school compliance task. S/he will cultivate sharing and collaboration within the community and work to build a scalable and efficient finance/operational infrastructure, providing exceptional service and support to our school, ensuring their continued fiscal/operational success, and working to support the schools’ mission and our high expectations for all. Bus Monitor (2021-2022)

Job Responsibilities: Bus monitors assist school bus drivers in maintaining a safe and orderly environment while buses are in operation. Monitors are responsible for a variety of tasks, which are explained below. Bus monitors work approximately one to two hours in the morning and in the afternoon. Morning routes may begin as early as 5:50 A.M. and afternoon routes begin at approximately 3:00 P.M. Bus monitors may be asked to support field lessons and other school activities that necessitate bus travel. Bus monitors follow the school calendar. This is a part-time, hourly position. Essential Functions: 1. Ensures the safety and well-being of children and adults being transported to and from the school and on field trips. 2. Completes a comprehensive written inspection of the bus daily, reporting any conditions of concern to the Coordinator, or delegated staff person, before transporting children. 3. Ensures that the bus always has sufficient fuel. 4. Operates bus in such a way that road and safety regulations are always followed; reports any traffic violations to the Director immediately. 5. Follows procedures to guarantee no child is left alone on a bus without adult supervision at any time, including ensuring all children have departed the bus at the end of all bus routes (morning, evening and during field trips or other special trips). 6. Keeps the bus clean and free of debris; follows other bus cleaning procedures. 7. Routinely inventories bus emergency and first aid supplies and equipment, reports needs to the Director, or delegated staff person. 8. Attend transportation in-service training of bus drivers and other continuing education, career and professional development opportunities. 9. In case of accidents/emergencies, evacuates children according to written and practiced procedures. 10. In the event of an accident, assures that medical emergency procedures are followed; completes a written accident report as required by the delegate's procedure and other authorities. 11. Support student recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities as needed. 12. Performs other duties, as assigned.
