Quita Breland

Quita Breland earned advanced degrees in Educational Leadership and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Public Policy and Administration with a concentration in Urban Planning and Program Management. She brings nearly three decades of experience in education, leading school improvement, developing teachers, and supporting students. Over the course of her career, she has redefined recruitment and retention practices, strengthened instructional systems, and expanded student support through PBIS and MTSS frameworks. Mrs. Breland now applies her leadership to the instructional and operational practices of Ambition Preparatory Charter School.

Working closely with teachers, students, and families, she has coached leaders, implemented sustainable improvement strategies, and fostered community engagement. Recognized as an outstanding administrator, she is also an active community advocate, volunteering with organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Mrs. Breland is excited to continue building high-quality schools that develop Mississippi’s next generation of leaders.
